8. We require you to consider and respond to a range of permissions related to your child while at Aidanfield. Please review the following and respond and sign at the end of the form.

Parental Permission for the use of your child’s photo or work for school publication: for example: school magazine (Only printed) Seesaw, School Facebook page etc. Please tick the boxes that show which school related publications you are happy for us to use your child’s work or image for. The only time a child’s full name will be used is in the school magazine which is given to every family but not advertised on our website.

9. Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC)

Pupils may have the opportunity throughout the year to travel out of school for various events, sports etc. We will inform you when they will be travelling and will seek your consent before making a charge against your school activity fee account. We will seek individual consent for any activity that has a higher element of risk above Category B (indicating an increased level of real risk).

Do you give permission for your child/children to be involved in Category A and B level activities (outlined below)
Guide for EOTC Activity Types:
A – On Site – In the school grounds (Lower risk environments – eg sports day, horticulture, adventure-based learning activities, painting murals, measuring for mathematics)
B – Off site – Short visits in the local community within school hours (managed risk environments – eg swimming pool or climbing wall activity)

10. Internet Access: The internet is useful as a tool for learning. It does have some risk involved. The school filters internet content and blocks inappropriate sites to the best of our ability. Filtered access to the internet is as follows:

Years 1-6 Supervised access to the internet
Years 7-10 Unsupervised access to the internet in a classroom environment

Note: any device where a student is logged in using their Aidanfield school log on, whether at home/private or school will be filtered through our school Linewise filters. Inappropriate use will be flagged at school and may be communicated to you, the parent.
