Our Parent Association has asked that I let you know that the annual fair run by our fantastic and very dedicated Parent Association (my emphasis on the ‘fantastic and very dedicated’, not theirs!) is not able to run this year. Under the rules for both COVID Red and Orange, there are maximum group sizes and vaccine passport requirements which we are not able to meet for a large event like the Fair. This means, just for 2022 we will be without a school Fair.
What both the Parent Association and the School are looking to do is find new and different ways of doing things this year so that we are not just cancelling things but adapting to find new things that can happen. We will keep you up to date with this as the year unfolds.
The loss of the Fair is also a loss of a major community event which also adds a significant level of funding to the Parent Association. Their last major contribution to the school was the permanent turf. They will be in touch with alternative fundraisers and your support of these would be great.
