The Curriculum

Aidanfield Christian School provides a curriculum that:

    - is consistent with Biblical truths.

    - complies with the New Zealand Curriculum Framework.

    - extends and challenges the students to continue to learn and explore their changing world.

    - prepares students to be fully functional and caring members of society.

    - allows the students to discover their God given gifts and future direction.

Our approach to the curriculum not only enables our students to learn the necessary concepts and work habits helpful for successful living within our society, but also offers them a variety of learning methods (such as small group work, personalised learning in meaningful contexts, and a growing commitment to technologies in an age appropriate manner) so that each student’s individual requirements are catered for.

The school offers tuition to students ranging from new entrants through to Year 10 and an assured pathway to Senior College at Middleton Grange School for years 11 to 13 where the family continues to be able to show a commitment to the Statement of Faith and ongoing evidence of support for the special character of the schools.
